Lotspeich
and Associates, Inc. (L&A) was founded in 1980 by Carol S. Lotspeich
with the commitment
that the natural environment could be successfully
integrated into the world's rapidly developing landscape while balancing
the regulatory constraints with the ecological value of those resources
present within any given study area.
L&A was instrumental in developing new
techniques for land reclamation, wetland restoration, integration of
protected species into managed lands and off-site mitigation.
Today,
the firm is led by Renee
L. Thomas; President and Karl G. Lotspeich; Vice President and continues to successfully permit, manage, and conduct ecological assessments, particularly wetland projects,
throughout the state of Florida, the southeastern United States and the Caribbean.
Our organization consists
of a team of full-time biological scientists focused on the application of regulations that affect the use and
development of natural resources.
Our staff has diverse experience
with evaluation and characterization of ecological systems utilizing the
latest in technology to provide the most accurate, informative, and
useful
product available.
Our firm is
staffed to allow our clients individual attention for each and every
project. Even though we are a small firm, we are able to handle and
excel at handling projects that are large in scale.
The size of our firm allows us to fully utilize our staff's expertise to meet the needs of
all of our clients, while
controlling
project costs and giving our
clients the focused attention one can only receive from a smaller
corporation.
